Located 250 meters from Gothenburg Central Station and with Nordstan, Sweden’s third-largest shopping center, just around the corner, it’s hard to find a hotel closer to the city center. It takes no more than 20 minutes from Landvetter Airport, and if you arrive by car, there is parking close to the hotel.

Bar Amuse on the ground floor offers not only wines from all over the world, but also a lively ambience that makes you want to stay until the wee hours.
On the top floor you will find Atelier, our French-inspired bistro that focuses on good food made from great ingredients and a mix of classic and groundbreaking drinks. During the summer, it can be enjoyed to the fullest as we open up the rooftop terrace, where cool cocktails are just as good of an idea as a steaming café latte.

A few tram stops from Pigalle, you will find yourself in the charming district of Haga. Time has almost stood still here, at least on the surface, where the 19th century buildings and a myriad of shops and cafes mingle on the cobblestone streets. This is also where you’ll find the famous Hagabadet Spa, where you can relax and enjoy a well-deserved spa treatment between sightseeing and shopping adventures.
Stora Saluhallen and Feskekôrka are two examples of old-fashioned market halls where many Gothenburg residents and visitors indulge in fresh gourmet food in the form of charcuterie, dairy, fish, and pastries.
The beautiful Slottsskogen City Park offers something for everyone – lovely walking trails, cafes, beach volleyball, disc golf, the adventure playground Plikta, and to top things off – one of Sweden’s oldest zoos. All within a few minutes from Pigalle.
Out and about
Around Gothenburg city, there are several excursions and beautiful places for tourists who want to experience more than just the inner-city gems. Magnificent Tjolöholm Castle is located about 40 minutes from the city center, where many visitors go to experience its history and breath-taking scenery.
If you are looking for archipelago vibes, you can reach Saltholmen beach within 25 minutes, and the same goes for the ferry ports that take you to fantastic Brännö, Donsö, and Vrångö Islands. Via the ferry terminal in Hjuvik west of the city, you may also take a boat to Hönö and Öckerö.
In the areas surrounding the city you can hike and/or bike to experience everything from seaside camping and fishing to the beautiful waterfalls of Lysegården and the stunning beauty of Gothenburg Botanical Garden.
